September 11, 2001 Remembrance Week Day 7..The NYC Memorial

The New York City Memorial will be dedicated September 11, 2011. There is quite alot of controversy surrounding who has been invited, or rather not invited, to the ceremony. Unfortunately it seems that there are those elected officials who have forgotten to whom this Memorial is dedicated and who actually gave their all for the people affected by this terrorist attack ten years ago.

Meanwhile this video is from the  Memorial's website.  These are the people who we need to remember....

Here is an animation of what the finished Memorial will look like. Right now only the pools of water are complete. The Freedom Tower is half done. Even so that area hosts the tallest building in lower Manhattan once again.

Remember tomorrow with a moment of silence:

American Airlines Flight 11, 8:46 a.m. hits North Tower.
United Airlines Flight 175, 9:03 a.m. hits South Tower.
American Airlines Flight 77, 9:37 a.m. hits Pentagon.
United Airlines Airlines Flight 93, 10:03 a.m. crashes in Pennsylvania

Until tomorrow,
